Pennsylvania Farmhouse Fire – Seven children die in a Pennsylvania farmhouse fire with only one child survivor.
The children were found dead after the Pennsylvania farmhouse fire was extinguished and were diagnosed to die of smoke inhalation.
During the farmhouse fire incident, the mother was milking the cows while the father was napping during a break from his job.
The survivor, a 3 year old child noticed that the house is filled with smoke she ran to her mother according to reports on the farmhouse fire incident.
The mother, Mrs. Clouse, attempted entry but could not get through and so she sought help from neighbors.
The second neighbor called 911 and they came 15 minutes later but the house was already in flames.
The family has lived in the area for five years were neighbors had heard them complain on having problems in keeping the house warm.
They apparently decided to use propane heat although it was not yet known whether propane is considered a factor for the Pennsylvania farmhouse fire.
