Boeing Aircraft Orders – Increased Boeing aircraft orders in the Asian region is currently experienced.

Boeing aircraft order especially in Hong Kong which is a region that has high growth for the aviation industry.

Airbus and Boeing commercial airplanes are still coming according to sources.

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific announced that it will be ordering fifteen A330s from Airbus and ten 777 Boeing commercial airplanes.

According to its CEO Tony Tyler “Our plan is to retire our 21 Boeing 747-400 and 11 Airbus A340-300 aircraft before the end of the decade as we take delivery progressively of new generation aircraft”.

Aside from that Russia’s Aeroflot also ordered eight Boeing 777s, with six 777-300ERs and two 777-200ERs.

According to the General Director of Aeroflot, Vitaly Saveliev, “These Boeing 777 airplanes will strengthen our network strategy, particularly the international growth opportunities we expect from our joint businesses with SkyTeam partners when servicing the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games and the 2018 FIFA World Cup”.

Boeing meanwhile announced last Tuesday a 33 737-800s order from the International Lease Finance Corporation.
