Dog Catches Cop Car & Eats It – What happened when a dog finally caught a car it was chasing? Well, it was a police car and the dog ate it.
A Chattanooga city police spokeswoman told reporters that Officer Clayton Holmes was on traffic patrol and had stopped to fill out a report when he felt his car shaking.
He got out of his patrol car and found a bulldog chewing on the tires.
After the dog proceeded to attack two passing cars plus a second police car, officers used pepper spray and Tasered it, but the bulldog wasn’t deterred.
By the time animal control staffers captured that biting bulldog and two others that joined him, the dog had chewed two tires and ripped the entire front bumper off Holmes’ patrol car.
Officer Rebecca Royval said the dogs got out of a fence at a nearby welding shop. The owner was cited and the dogs were removed.
