Tropical Storm Bonnie
Tropical Storm Bonnie – Bonnie, the second tropical storm of the 2010 hurricane season is strengthening over the Bahamas and heading for the Florida coast.
The latest update from the National Hurricane Center shows Tropical Storm Bonnie moving WNW at 10 knots under massive cloud cover and heavy rain.
TS Bonnie looks to follow the Bahamas islands chain towards Florida’s East Coast, but the storm track could change as upper-level winds act as steering currents for the fast-growing tropical cyclone.
The latest update according to the NOAA:
LOCALLY HEAVY SHOWERS AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL SPREAD OVER THE BAHAMAS…PORTIONS OF CUBA AND SOUTHERN FLORIDA DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS THE SYSTEM MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 10-12 KT.
And that’s the latest from Action News about Tropical Storm Bonnie.
